What You Need to Know about the Credit Builder Secured Credit Card:

  • Set your credit limit between $300 and $3,000 based on the amount you deposit into your Credit Builder Savings Account (required).
  • Add to your credit line in $50 increments to increase your credit limit.
  • Enroll in Visa® Secure Remote Commerce to protect your online transactions.
  • Features a 25.99% annual percentage rate (APR) (View rates and fees).
  • Enroll in eStatements to save a $5 quarterly paper statement fee.
  • Track all your activity through Digital Banking.

Subject to credit approval. Improved credit score is not guaranteed. Credit score is determined by credit reporting agencies based on multiple factors, but satisfactory performance on a credit card product can improve your credit score. Default on a credit card, including missed or late payments can damage your credit score. Once added, funds cannot be withdrawn from the Credit Builder Savings account and the Credit Builder credit card without closing the savings account and the credit card.

25.99% APR

Your due date is at least 25 days after the close of each billing cycle. We will not impose interest charges on purchases or balance transfers if you pay your entire balance in full by the due date each month. We will begin charging interest on cash advances on the transaction date.

Annual fee: none. Balance Transfer fee: None. Cash Advance Fee: $5.00 or 2% of the amount advanced, whichever is greater. Currency Conversion Transaction Fee: 1.0% of each transaction in US Dollars, if currency conversion occurs.  International Transaction Fee: 8.8% of each transaction in US dollars, if no currency conversion occurs. 

Late Payment fee up to $25.00. Return payment fee up to $25.00. No over the limit fee. Card replacement fee is $5.00 per card prior to the normal reissue date. Copying fee is $4.00 per-page fee for copies of transaction documents or statements unless we are required to provide them when resolving a billing dispute. 

HOW WE WILL CALCULATE YOUR BALANCE: We use a method called, "average daily balance (including new purchases and balance transfers)." See the Card Agreement for more details.
