Meet Our Experts 


David Robinson joined Academy Bank as the Director of FinTech Partnerships at the end of 2022.  In this role, David leads FinTech partnership strategy and execution for the organization and has responsibility for the Banking as a Service (BaaS) channel.  David brings unique perspective with broad experience across traditional financial institutions, the FinTech ecosystem, and large technology companies.  

Tom Kientz is the Chief Operating Officer at Academy Bank, bringing experience from previous roles at United Western Bank, Compass Bank and U.S. Bancorp. Tom Kientz brings a robust skill set that includes Credit, Risk Management, Banking, Commercial Banking, Loans and more.
