Kate Smith

Kate Smith is a Senior Vice President, Senior Commercial Banker at Academy Bank, bringing 16 years of commercial banking experience to help clients structure and execute financing solutions in the commercial real estate space.

 

Based in Phoenix, Kate specializes in investor commercial real estate lending and serves as a trusted point of contact throughout the full lending process—from prospecting and underwriting to closing and loan servicing. Kate is known for her thoughtful, hands-on approach, timely communication, and commitment to helping clients navigate each transaction with confidence. 

 

A Phoenix native, Kate earned her degree from the University of Arizona and remains actively involved in the local community and professional organizations, including ULI and RMA. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, cheering on her sons at competitive soccer games, reading, watching movies, and visiting the beach.
