Gerardo Marquez

Gerardo Marquez is Vice President, Commercial Banker at Academy Bank, leveraging more than 15 years of banking and finance experience to deliver financing solutions for businesses throughout Arizona. His expertise includes commercial real estate lending, commercial and industrial lending, commercial construction financing, lines of credit, equipment financing, and Small Business Administration (SBA) lending.

Since joining Academy Bank in 2021, Gerardo has built a reputation for delivering thoughtful, strategic solutions that help businesses thrive while maintaining a disciplined approach to risk management. He is a graduate of the bank’s 2024 Legacy Leadership Program and is an active member of the Risk Management Association and the Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

Gerardo holds an MBA with a concentration in Finance from Grand Canyon University, a Bachelor of Applied Science in Business Administration from Northern Arizona University, and multiple associate degrees in accounting, banking and finance, and management. A Phoenix native, he is bilingual in Spanish and English and remains actively engaged in Arizona’s business community.
