Andy Van Zante

Andy serves as a Senior Vice President, Relationship Manager, and Loan Officer for Academy Bank. Based at the bank's Kansas City office, Andy has been with Academy Bank since March 2021 and brings more than 24 years of commercial real estate financing experience. He works with investors, developers, and business owners throughout Academy Bank's footprint, serving communities across Kansas, Missouri, Colorado, Arizona, and Arkansas. His deep understanding of local markets and relationship-based approach helps clients identify opportunities and navigate complex real estate financing decisions.

Andy specializes in investor-owned commercial real estate financing, underwriting, and relationship building, serving as a trusted advisor to his clients. His commitment to providing candid, timely feedback and responsive service has earned him a reputation for delivering exceptional client experiences across the communities Academy Bank serves.

In addition, Andy is the 2024 President of the Kansas City CCIM Chapter's Board of Directors, where he has been active on the Board since 2016 and an active member of the Kansas City Chapter since 2005. He holds a CCIM designation, an MBA from UMKC, and an undergraduate degree from Kansas State University.

Born and raised in the Shawnee, Kansas, area, Andy takes pride in serving the communities that make up Academy Bank's footprint and helping local businesses, investors, and real estate owners succeed. He enjoys spending time with his family and two dogs and coaching his four children in their various sporting activities.
