How To Make a Cash Deposit
If you need to make a deposit, we offer a few options for you to do so quickly and easily. With Academy Bank, you can walk up to any of our high-tech, touch-screen ATMs to easily get cash, make deposits, transfer funds and more. Our Smart ATMs are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They can accept both cash and check deposits -- though you can also deposit checks with our convenient mobile banking*.
If you’re not able to find a branch location near you, you can also make a cash deposit at any Walmart location in the country. By making a Cash2Debit deposit with any Walmart cashier (not available at self-serve), your account will be immediately credited.
Cash2Debit allows you to send cash to your Academy Bank account from the Walmart checkout. At checkout, inform your Walmart cashier you would like to put cash into your Academy Bank account. Keep in mind that a $4.95 convenience fee will be charged against your account. The cashier will run this as a card reload using action code 70.
How To Get Extra Cash with an ATM Limit
Sometimes you need extra cash. But what if you have an ATM limit? Our online banking services can help.
Using the mobile app*, select “Manage Debit Cards” to request an immediate increase of your limit.
How To Receive a Money Order
If you need a money order, our partnership with Walmart means you’re covered at any Walmart location across the country.
All you have to do is make a cash withdrawal from an ATM and have Walmart create a money order for you at the Walmart service center. (Walmart charges a nominal fee for this service.)
How To Apply for a Loan
When you’re ready to apply for a loan, the Academy Bank website makes it easy to do so without needing to visit us in-person.

How To Report a Lost or Stolen Card or Unauthorized Transactions
If your card is lost or stolen, or you notice something suspicious going on with your account, you can still reach us.
If your card is lost or stolen, here’s what you need to do.
One option is to contact us via chat, and we will work with you to get your card locked and issue you a replacement. You can also use our online banking options by selecting “Manage Debit Cards.” In just a few swipes, you can report the loss, freeze the account, and have a replacement card on its way to you.
Another option is to call Telebank at (800) 754-4128 to report your card lost or stolen.
If you notice unauthorized transactions when logged into your account, follow these steps. First, chat with us via online banking. Next to “Transaction,” select “Ask a Question,” and we will help you start the dispute process.
